Let me share my story. 

I am a yoga and breathwork facilitator. I help people move away from discomfort in their body and chaos in their mind. I help people create what they are truly craving deep down inside.. ease, connection and freedom.

I am here to guide you into practices that create this feeling for you. With me, you will find a safe space to move your body and to connect deeper to yourself. 

For majority of my life, I felt disconnected from my body, and completely trapped within my mind. I knew deep down this wasn’t natural, I was not supposed to feel or move the way I was.

I wanted to know exactly what my body needed at each given time and how to help support it. I wanted to have space in my mind to actually enjoy life!

These are tools for every single person and they will be adapted to a way that suits you. 

I am not here to tell you exactly what to do and how you should move and breathe. Truth is, you actually have your answers on what supports you the best. I am here to offer the space and the guidance with all of the knowledge I have collected over the years through trainings, practices and self development. 

When I guide you through a practice, you will always leave feeling different to how you came in.

You do not need to be flexible to do yoga and you do not need to ‘meditate’ to do breathwork. 

One thing I love to be clear on! 

My guidance is clear, the space I create is safe, the practice I provide will bring you closer to yourself in every way possible.

My students stay with me for years because they trust me, I am committed to helping others. They know I am here, every step of the way. 

I care about the people I work with. I connect with them and want to understand what they are truly wanting to receive from their practice. 

I will always adjust, shift and change something to cater to individuals needs at that specific time.

This is what I believe in:

We have to feel safe in ourself and with the person we are connecting with for anything to change, grow or evolve. Creating safety for my students and clients is my number 1 prioriy.

Learning what your body likes, dislikes, needs and wants.. to learn what healthy looks like for you. 

Health

A practice is empowerment. Create a space that is purely for yourself to connect builds trust and self empowerment.

Empowerment

Being authentic in yourself. Moving the way that suits your body, honoring your own needs at that given time.

Self-expression

Every practice takes discipline. It takes showing up for yourself and committing to the time you create. That is the only way things change. 

Discipline

I love to dance! Anywhere and everywhere, music or no music you will always find me moving my body. A big reason I fell in love with yoga movement.

I am a cookie monster and will always find the best cookies everywhere I go.

I am a Libra and always searching for balance in every aspect. 

A turtle, is my spirit animal.

If I could reincarnate I would come back as a duck, so I can swim and fly.

I have been doing yoga online with Lauren for just over 6 months, I was hesitant to join as I had a shoulder injury that restricted my movement, I was having regular massages and seeing health professionals for close to a year with no luck. However after a number of sessions with Lauren, the pain had eased and I had more movement then I had in a long time. Lauren is always accommodating and is suitable for all levels, doing yoga online allows me to be flexible with everything that goes on in life with the added benefit of the comfort of my own home. I’ve been joining Lauren’s yoga flow classes for about a year now. The class is a zoom dial-in which is super convenient and works well for me. Lauren’s instructions are very easy to follow and intuitive (I was a total novice when I started). Her manner is relaxed and there is the option to challenge yourself (or not) during the practice. I really look forward to the Sunday morning sessions and always feel significantly better afterwards!

I've enjoyed practising flow yoga through Lauren's on-line classes for over a year. The composition of the classes offered varies from session to session providing emphasis on different areas such as balance, flexibility, and strength. 

Lauren's presentation is perfectly paced for both experienced class members and the novice. Her gentle, melodic vocal style provides clear and concise instructions for each movement and alternatives are given for those with specific needs. I exercise because I need to. I join Lauren's yoga classes because I enjoy them, and at the same time improve my balance, flexibility, muscle strength and mental well-being.
